Solana Vet is an independent, locally owned veterinary practice built on personal, collaborative care.

Dr. Mallory Wong grew up in San Clemente and attended San Clemente High School. Even while studying at UC San Diego, she found herself back in San Clemente most weekends. Veterinary school later took her across the world to Melbourne, Australia, where she loved the culture, the unpredictable weather, and the charming country towns, but always knew she wanted to return home.

Fortunately, she brought back a souvenir: Dr. Cedric Koch.

Dr. Koch moved to San Clemente in 2017, and together they chose this community as the place to raise their family and build the kind of neighborhood hospital they wanted for their own pets — one where owners are treated as partners, not as another appointment on the schedule.

Every detail of Solana Vet was designed around making veterinary care feel calmer, more comfortable, and more connected. Our exam rooms are warm and welcoming rather than clinical, and whenever possible, care is provided in the room with you present. Fear Free principles guide everything from our handling techniques to our hospital layout, including separate waiting, exam, and treatment spaces for cats.

From preventive care and dentistry to surgery, sick visits, and senior care, we provide modern veterinary medicine with thoughtful, personal attention — delivered by the doctors who own the practice and are here to build lasting relationships with the families we serve.
